Class Action

Our experienced class action attorneys represent consumers, employees, small businesses, shareholders and people like you in class action lawsuits against insurance companies, businesses and other entities that have committed fraud, denied claims, sold dangerous products or committed other wrongs against a group or “class” of individuals.

Our class action lawyers represents clients in class action lawsuits when individual lawsuits may not make sense economically, but the claims have similar legal and factual issues. Class actions can level the playing field, enabling the “little guys” to band together against the big insurance companies, manufacturers, banks, and big business to achieve justice in both state and federal courts.

Chances are, if a big business or insurance company has harmed you in some way, many people like you have been harmed as well. That alone does not mean that you have a viable class action, but it only takes a short phone call with one of our experienced class action attorneys to find out. We’ll take the time to listen to you and evaluate your situation. There is never a charge for a case evaluation so, give us a call now.

What Is Class Action Litigation?

A class action lawsuit is a type of litigation where many parties have been harmed or damaged in similar ways by the same person or business and they join to seek justice.

An experienced class action attorney will often represent classes of people in wage and hour law claims, employee benefits cases, defective products, faulty medical devices or harmful prescription drugs, consumer fraud and other similar cases. The court must certify the group of people as a class before it can proceed beyond the initial phases of class action litigation. Class action lawsuits may be filed in either state or federal court depending on the nature of the case and where the parties are located.

Why File a Class Action Lawsuit?

Class actions are often good for everyone involved. Adjudicating multiple claims that are similar at the same time conserves the court’s resources. Class action lawsuits can also reduce the cost of litigation and may enable a group of people with small claims to seek justice when alone it would not make economic sense to file a lawsuit. A class action lawsuit may allow parties with small claims to recover losses that would not have been possible outside of a class action.
